Antiangiogenesis for fat removal and cancer prevention

I tried the anti-angiogenesis diet about a decade ago after an injury left me temporarily unable to exercise. I was overweight at the time, so it was a perfect little experiment. I followed the food diet very precisely and lost 35 pounds in 5 months. There is some research about using the process (r...

Re: The magic 500mg threshold :)

It looks like my mother has finally hit the magic spot. I was wondering why she was struggling with fatigue so often until i cleaned the heater in her washroom, it must have had a dial thermometer but it was replaced with an on/off switch. On other words - when she used it for bath time, it would ge...

Re: Sleep Affected by NMN

I don't feel anything at this point (heading on 2 years) regardless on when i take it, but i prefer first thing in the am, because I have come to feel that performing work of any kind makes the NMN work harder for me. So if I took it before bed, i think i would be missing out on the benefit of takin...

Re: NMN absorbed via our Gut Bacteria?

That is why i now take Ganoderma Lucidum (Reishi) and also have oatmeal without sugar as these two items introduce good amounts of beta glucans to the gut, making it a favourable climate for the right bacteria, and unfavourable and bad for the bad ones.   Right! Oatmeal for beta glucans for healthy...

Re: What is the current human trial status of Senolytics in general

Olive Oil / Oleic Acid is probably the one to watch after Fisetin.

Also Loperamide (Imodium) has shown incredible autophagic affects against the zombie cells related to a certain aggressive brain cancer. So things are moving in a lot of areas.

Anti-aging, the heart, age and max heart rate.

So this may be obscure to some but on some treadmills there is a chart showing what an acceptable heart rate (beats per minute) is for your age (given in decades). When I passed 50, i thought it was something I should be paying more attention too. It took me 3 months to get up to actual running for ...

Re: Down 32 pounds, a lovely milestone!

Way to go NLS! That is a staggering amount to lose! And if you get down to 180, you'll have lost  50 pounds. I am sure you know what you are doing but if you stay high protein and moderate fat and low low carbs.. you might just melt it all off. My weight loss has been gradual. But I have built a fai...

Re: What are you Taking NMN/NAD+ For , and Results?

Well I am first and foremost taking it for longevity and improved health. I do notice more energy. In fact it seems the more work i perform, the more stamina i get, and in short order. I think you will benefit most from exercising and working while taking NMN more than if you do not. I think someone...

Re: Loperamide and autophagy

Right, there is a big difference between stopping diarrhea and inducing auto[hagy. I will keep my eyes open for this. It may end up being a high dose scenario where you take a lot for 2 days followed my 4 weeks without. Either that or you may get constipated. Anyway i think the list of anti-aging an...
