Re: Longevity recipes
I used to do the basic mix for resveratrol of olive oil and a bit of Greek fatty yoghurt. Then when I found out turmeric was lipophilic I added that into the mix with a bit of black pepper for good measure. Now I've started "shrooming" and decided to add the mushroom powder into the mix - looks r...

Re: Beginning of a new journey
I'm wondering if NMN by way of suppository is giving a massive boost to your microbiome, which in itself is having positive beneficial effects throughout your body. You may be right RobSmith but the noticeable effect was within 24 hours where with improvement and boosting of microbiome the benef...

Re: 65+ Are you weaning off NMN before C-19 Vaccination ?
I'm guessing you are probably one of the older, if not the oldest person on this forum, which given most countries are vaccinating in the direction from the eldest to the youngest, will probably make you the first to be given the vaccine. For what it is worth, I will also take it when offered, and ...

Re: What are you Taking NMN/NAD+ For , and Results?
Starting with the Why, my journey started with watching my father deteriorate from his 60's initially with heart problems, then the ravages of Parkinsons, along with a stroke, needing two knee replacements along the way and as we are today 20 odd years later still hanging on bed-bound (not been out ...

Re: NMN Cycling
I remember viewing an old Peter Attia video the other day and he mentioned about continual use of Resveratrol having a detrimental effect on the gut micro-biome. Again, it's another good reason to have a day or two off from the supplements. Knowing how important the gut microbiome is, I've moved to...

Re: Fisetin Regulates Gut Microbiota and shows Neuroprotective Effect on Parkinson's Disease
Great news for those who suffer from Parkinsons or who have a family history of it (like mine).
That does it for me - next purchase from ABS will include the Optimiser with the Fisetin.
Thanks very much Albert.

Re: NR Does Not Improve Mitochondrial Function or NAD+ Content in Human Skeletal Muscle
Well they only did the study with NR and not NMN, and they only did the study on Obese and Insulin Resistant people, so it could still work on healthy people. I think we have heard enough anecdotal evidence from members of this forum to suggest NMN does have a benefit even if only for non-obese or ...

Re: The magic 500mg threshold :)
My magic threshold appears to be less than 500mg!! So when I started taking NMN almost 11 months ago it was accompanied by a whole load of lifestyle changes and a large addition to the supplements I was taking (had only previously been supplementing Vitamin D as a blood test had shown a clear defici...
