Re: Beginning of a new journey

My Fisetin turned up very quickly so I actually did the first two day protocol last weekend.
Absolutely no side effects at all even though it feels like one is consuming a huge amount.

Re: Anti-aging, the heart, age and max heart rate.

Heart Rate Monitors are an important tool for training and exercise but can also be a “Crutch” and give the person a reason not to push themselves. Also HR Monitors have been known to occasionally spike from outside influences and give you an incorrect reading. The fitter you are the lower your hea...

Re: Adding Retinol to Renue?

It would also be very good if they could add ascorbic acid to the mix. Ideally you'd have one with ascorbic acid to apply first thing in the morning and one with Retinol before going to bed.

Maybe they could also do us a sunscreen with zinc nanoparticles as the screening agent.

Re: Sleep Affected by NMN

From my understanding, NMN/NAD+ won't do much unless the Sirtuins are active, which won't come about sitting on the couch or asleep.
I take a bit of NAD+ immediately before exercising in the morning and top up with the daily dose of NMN straight afterwards.
I hope this generates the maximum effect.

Re: Anti-aging, the heart, age and max heart rate.

After two years on a Keto nutritional program of only fresh food, 6 hours /week of Dr. Sinclair's requirement for a "Surge type exercise program" (Pickleball played at tournament challenged level), and 250 mg NMN, 250mg NAD+ with Renue, 600 mg Resveratrol DAILY, my reset age is back from  80 to 60....

Re: Anti-aging, the heart, age and max heart rate.

I wonder, if we manage to lower our biological age, if this would show up as an increase in our theoretical, and therefore actual, maximum heart rate???

Re: Headache from NMN

Maybe your body isn't particularly short of NMN/NAD+....I'd try going down to 100 or 125mg

Re: The Workout Drug

I'll just add that having to concentrate the mind on something else whilst doing aerobic exercise (e.g. listening to a podcast of someone talking if not watching something on a screen) increases the blood flow to the brain by up to 40%. (I saw this on a BBC programme "The truth about exercising" aro...

Re: Longevity recipes

I used to do the basic mix for resveratrol of olive oil and a bit of Greek fatty yoghurt.  Then when I found out turmeric was lipophilic I added that into the mix with a bit of black pepper for good measure.  Now I've started "shrooming" and decided to add the mushroom powder into the mix - looks r...

Re: Beginning of a new journey

I'm wondering if NMN by way of suppository is giving a massive boost to your microbiome, which in itself is having positive beneficial effects throughout your body.    You may be right RobSmith but the noticeable effect was within 24 hours where with improvement and boosting of microbiome the benef...
