Re: Article: "Longevity Hack: Study Supports an Extra Workout Perk from Coffee"

Andrew Huberman mentioned recently on his podcast, that coffee helps your workout only if you are caffeine adapted. if you dont usually drink coffee, he said that it can actually have a negative effect you can also check your 23andme results to see if you are a slow or fast caffeine metabolizer. I a...

Re: Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM)

I get acarbose without a scrip from inhousepharmacy.vu It works differently, as it inhibits the enzyme that turns carbs into glucose. You take it with the first byte, and if you take 50-100mg you get no spike at all Its quick acting, so you dont have preplan before you eat What brand berberine did y...

Re: Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM)

I have played around with a CGM multiple times. Keep in mind that if using the freestyle, you probably want to finger prick once or twice to see how accurate it is. I see all the time that it can calibrate itself as much as 20 points off, and then i need to mentally just add that amount. It will sti...

Re: Dosage 1g is enough?

keep in mind as well, that with the mice it was ingested in their water, and not directly into the blood stream. I am not sure what this would mean when taking it sublingual. Note that Sinclair takes his in a pill form, and says that he has no idea if sublingual is better/worse or if the dose should...

Re: Broccoli Sprouts and Sulforaphane

Rhonda Patrick has a lot of info on this, and how much to eat if you want to grow them. as far as supplement options, her favorite is Prostaphane (which you can only get in france (or ebay)) which is the only one that gives actual suforaphane. Otherwise, she says to go with avmacol (which is a precu...

NMN sublingual vs NAD+ patch

I am running out of NMN sublingual powder, and debating if I should reorder, or try an NAD+ patch of 400mg once a week.
Does anyone have thoughts on which of these would work better?

Re: New study: less metabolic benefit from exercise with nmn

The dose they gave in the study was 400mg/kg. What would the equivalent be in a human? I found this study from a few years ago, that had this snippet. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5668137/ "For example, whereas the effects of NMN on body weight gain, insulin sensitivity, tear product...

Mixing NMN in multiple forms and NR?

I have been trying to figure out which one is better for a while: 1) NMN in pill form Seems to be the way sinclair takes it Hard to find a reputable option online Not clear how much makes it out of the liver 2) NMN sublingual bypasses the liver sinclair hasnt tried it (though he said it might be goo...

Welcome, Arnie! Good questions. My understanding is there was an interview by Glenda Greenwald of David Sinclair last week in which he stated there were first ever results of an NMN human trial.
Is there somewhere I can hear or read the Glenda interview?
