Re: Age-related hair loss and vitamin E

I've used minoxydil with good success the last 2 years. I've also used microneedling (aka derma roller) for the last year on my face and neck to stimulate new collagen growth. A study came out a few years ago that actually combined these two (minoxydil and microneedling) with great results. There we...

Re: How Genome Sequencing and Senolytics Can Help Us Live Healthier, Longer

These lingering cells secrete a potent mix of molecules that triggers chronic inflammation, damages the surrounding tissue structures, and changes the behavior of nearby cells for the worse. One of the molecules is called CD38, which neutralizes NAD+ and is a primary reason why levels of NAD+ decre...

Extraordinary' Breakthroughs In Anti-Aging Research 'Will Happen Faster Than People Think'

The pace of anti-aging research and funding is now increasing exponentially. Among companies leading the way are David Sinclair's Life Biosciences, which recently raised $50 million in funding for their work on the "eight pathways of age-related decline". George Church's Rejuvenate Bio is currently ...

Re: Mayo Clinic Human Trial using Fisetin

No, I had no side effects from Fisetin. PureBulk is tested by 3rd party labs for purity. Good reputation, which is why I buy from them. Their Fisetin is made from the Cotinus coggygria tree (aka smoke tree) and yes the ground bark contains 50% Fisetin but with OJ the taste is fine.

Mayo Clinic Human Trial using Fisetin

Earlier this year, I followed the same protocol used in a human trial of Fisetin at the Mayo Clinic. Fisetin is the most powerful natural senolytic you can get. I buy the PureBulk brand on Amazon, however it comes in a powder and doesn't taste very good (it's made from tree bark). I mix it with 8 oz...

NR Reduces Brain Inflammation and Improves Cognitive Function in Diabetic Mice

In a recent study by Seoul Women's University, NR was shown to reduce brain inflammation and improve cognitive function in diabetic mice. It also significantly reduced levels of amyloid-β, which is a dangerous plaque implicated in Alzheimer's disease. Together, these findings suggest NR is effective...

Scientists develop blood test that predicts whether you'll die in next 10 years

New tests are beginning to hone in on the essential biomarkers related to aging and death.  Scientists from the Max Planck Institute have assembled 14 biomarkers in a blood test that predicts whether you will die in the next 10 years. "Scientists develop blood test that predicts whether you'll die i...

Re: I recently ordered the NMN tablets, dissolve or chew??

I recently ordered some tablets and I really like the taste. But is it better to let them dissolve under the tongue or is chewing them just as good? It's advisable to let it dissolve under the tongue. Breaking it up by chewing slightly then holding it under the tongue to dissolve faster is okay, to...

Re: NmN with NAD??

NAD+ crosses the blood/brain barrier easier, so is more for the brain. NMN is great for the body. They work well taken together.

Re: Defender Ingredients

Looks good, but we are going to need some good discussion as to why one would take this combination and for what reasons? My impressions is that there is very definitely and age related effect regarding NMN and NR ( greater effects the older you are the lower your NAD levels) so I suspect it would ...
