That would be 2040 mg a day of NMN Vandan at your weight and everyone seems to differ on how efficient their uptake of the molecule is..
Our furry little friends (mice) may or may not assimilate NMN differently to humans..

It's already been posted in the forum, but i'm referencing it here - worth a watch if you haven't already: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DtWqza ... e=youtu.be&

From the comments, referencing a study done

"Older mice that were given NMN (300 mg/kg/day) experienced delayed aging in the liver, muscle, immune cells, eyes, and bones, but those that took a lower dose of NMN (100mg/kg/day or human equivalent of 8mg/kg/day) had improved mitochondrial function and enhanced physical performance."

So how heavy are you and what's your current dosage?

I'm 75kg. 625mg NMN so right on the "low dosage" end of the equivalent trial in mice. 1,800mg would be considered a high dose.
I appreciate the breakdown other too much for my brain. Im 85kg and 6.1inches Im at 1.3 a day but I might shoot for 2g. Why not?
This is an interesting study as far as dosage goes. 300mg/kg/day is a significant dose and one that could be expensive. However, if you have delayed aging in vital organs and the immune system it may be worth it.

Thats exactly right. What price do we put on our lives. Reaching the inflection point where healthcare outpaces ageing year on year in my goal.

The 300 mg/kg of NMN in MICE is equivalent to 24 mg/kg of NMN in humans. Just to clarify, so no one will start taking 20+ grams of NMN a day ^^

You are already on fire with 1 gram of NMN daily.
No need to “turn it into a furnace”. :?

I take 13.8 mg/kg bodyweight of NMN for a total of 1000 mg. That is in between the 8-24 mg/kg that has been suggested to be of maximum benefit in humans here:

I take at most 500mg/ day currently at the age of 30. I am relying on the fact that my body is producing NAD+ naturally still and do not want my body to become dependant on the foreign source.

Well, to be fair...everyone regardless of age is producing and recycling their own NAD or we´ll be dead in 30 seconds ^^

But with increasing age and/or chronic diseases the amount may be suboptimal for longevity. That is the theory and what we´ve seen in yeast and animal studies.
