To follow up, I did eventually start with resvertatrol (500mg micronized trans-resveratrol from Mega Resveratrol) in addition to the pterostilbene. Hate to say it, but after 3 tries, the resveratrol consistently gives me headaches and generally makes me feel off. Back to the pterostilbene solo for me.
That's unfortunate that you had a poor reaction. It could be from a particular manufacturer, or the substance itself.
In any case there is no real difference between taking RSV or PST, so i am quite sure you are good taking pterostilbene with NMN.

Blueberries, Blueberries and more Blueberries and I’m now adding Black Rice to the mix...
Google it up to checkout the benefits
I was the same, rhett - years ago, I tried out reservatrol in liquid form (saw a bottle of it at the local chemist)...gave me the worst headache, I think I actually vomited shortly after taking the first dose so I stopped that straight away! But could have been a dodgy batch or maybe just that brand or mix didn't sit well with my gut.
Thanks for the tip, Newage! I've had wild rice, but haven't heard of black rice, will have a look!

Yes OzSport.
I now finish my last daily meal (5 pm) with Black Rice topped with a selection of Dark Berries and a splash of Almond/Coconut Milk.
“Dessert” when your not actually having Dessert.

It sounds like Pterostilbene is a good alternative to resveratrol or something one can take with it.
Right now I am taking Resveratrol but also taking Blueberry extract which i am sure is a good source of Pterostilbene.

Nothing wrong with taking both. I do intend to have month's of supplies of many of the compounds we are learning about it.

I agree.
I take both and hopefully cover all bases...

Add another one into Pterostilbene's corner
https://www.nutritioninsight.com/news/b ... eases.html
Pterostilbene is looking more and more like the most potent plant molecule (apart from Fisetin) that we can supplement.
I have been taking .250g 5 days a week for the last 3months with .500g of Resveratrol.
