Because the majority of the population seem to carry excess weight even when they feel they don’t (hidden brown fat) a good guideline seems to be that you lose weight until there is a very noticeable energy surge in your daily activities.
I believe that is your body telling you that you are somewhere near your optimum weight and the right power to weight ratio. With me that seems to be around 70 kilograms at a height of 1.76 metres. No stomach fat at all with that height to weight ratio...
