Sublingual NMN tablets
Hello !
We just started taking NMN sublingual tablets a few days ago and have a question:
It takes us about 20-25 mins for 1 tablet to dissolve fully if you keep it under the tongue. Also invariably there is saliva formed so one is forced to swallow it every few minutes
Is this ok ?

Re: Sublingual NMN tablets
My tablets dissolve in less than 5 minutes, then I slosh the liquid around in my mouth for at least another 5 to 10 minutes to enhance absorption before swallowing..renurakheja wrote: ↑Sun Feb 09, 2020 6:08 amHello !

I take the ones of the 240 tablets pack. for me they dissolve pretty fast.

Yes it is okay to swallow as needed. The key is to keep it under the tongue but you get some absorption thru the mucosal lining in the mouth and throat. Welcome to feeling better than you ever have! Keep us in the loop on how you are doing and if you have any other questions about NMN or NAD.

Re: Sublingual NMN tablets
First the tablets should not take that long to dissolve. Second, yes it is fine to swallow while the pills are dissolving.
Re: Sublingual NMN tablets
Hmmm, longest time for it to dissolve for me was 10 minutes...20-25 minutes seems a long time! Maybe dissolving time is different for each person?
Re: Sublingual NMN tablets
I have no idea how you guys keep it under your tongue for so long. I use both powder NMN in the morning and Sublingual tables in the evening. Both are completely dissolved in saliva 20-30 seconds after I put them under my tongue, even if I hold tongue still.

There is a lot of variation between individuals. But I don't believe anyone would find it takes 20 minutes to dissolve our tablets. I suspect the thread starter purchased another brand. It is difficult to mfg a tablet that dissolves as quickly as ours yet doesn't fall apart.

That makes sense if it was another brand.
Another reason to only ever consider using ABN products for assured quality and reliability..

Time to dissolve?? - For me its all about hydration level.
A little dehydrated it takes much longer up to 30min (a few times longer even). When I am hydrated, so basically I have been on top of my water intake to my requirement, the ABN NMN SL tablet is gone, as in fully dissolved hold for a minute or 2 in mouth then swallowed within 5-10min total elapsed time.
